Today
I always believed firmly in proper study, and was fortunate early on to study with excellent bassists, including seminars with Alain Caron, Gary Willis and John Patitucci. From my early studies I became well-prepared for a career as a bassist and have had the opportunity to play live and tour with many talented musicians, including Joy Garrison, Talco, Jungle Town, Akaba, Camilla, Helena Hellwig, Agostino Marangolo,Tom Kirkpatrick, Antonella Bucci, Rosario di Bella, Francesco Bruno, Salvatore Bonafede, Patrizia Rossetti, Massimo Greco, Stefano Di Battista, Daniele Di Gregorio, Arnaldo Vacca, Lisa, William Stravato, and of course with my brother Enrico di Bella.
I have also contributed to many commercial recordings and Artist’s CDs including Jungle Town, Antonella Bucci, Francesco Bruno, Manique, and Carlo Marrale. I have also recorded many commercial spots and tracks for Rai 2 and Coca Cola.
I also have participated in many commercial tours, such as the musical "Gianburrasca” with Marco Morandi, the TIM Gospel Tour, and the RAI 2 “ Progetto Voyager ” tour.
And lastly I also enjoy my teaching projects and participating in worldwide bass clinics. I also participate actively with bass equipment suppliers, like Laurus, Reference Laboratory and Jacaranda to help them stay on the cutting edge of perfecting the sound of the bass guitar.
